Tid Bits

Reported by Melanie - July 7, 2004 -

Republican pundit Cheri Jacobus was on Dayside w/Linda Vester today (July 7, 2004), along with Democratic pundit Rich Masters. They appeared at 1:02 p.m. ET to talk about Edwards and Cheney. Vester started out by reading a quote from Edwards: "I don't take contributions from lobbyists," and then said, "but he obviously does."

Masters was upbeat, saying Edwards will "rejuvinate" the party and he has "infectious optimism."

Jacobus said "he's an attractive guy, nice hair cut."

Vester said "in a debate with Dick Cheney John Edwards is clearly Mr. Sunshine."

Jacobus said Cheney is "pretty serious" and what we have here is obviously a "stature gap."

COMMENT: Nothing earth shattering but sometimes it doesn't take a lot to set a tone.
