How many times do I have to tell you...?

Reported by Chrish - July 7, 2004 -

Bret Baier stated on FNL July 6 (3:09 EDT) that certain CIA reports that WMD programs in Iraq had been abandoned never made it to Bush's briefings. The CIA claimed they were not convincing or persuasive. When Bush was asked about his reaction to this report

from the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, he was aware of its existence and vowed to look at it.

He went on to say "I KNOW that Saddam Hussein was a threat. He was a threat to, uh, the neighborhood, he was a threat to the people of Iraq. Saddam Hussein had the intent, he had the capability, and the world is better off without Saddam Hussein in power."

Comment: Even at this late date Bush continues to be ill-informed. Fox obligingly shows video of him reiterating the mantra, even though anything more than a dulled listening exposes the lie of why we attacked Iraq. A threat to the neighborhood???
