Energizing The Base

Tonight was a special July 4th edition of Hannity&Colmes. There was no political discussion, liberal bashing, or open Bush worship but the message was loud and clear. 7/05/04 Hannity&Colmes 9PM ET.
The first twenty minutes were devoted to Michael Reagan telling the same stories for the third or fourth time about his Dad.As Michael gushed about how much his Father loved him, there were clips , yet again, of the funeral . Hannity,of course, dropped the important names, like Gorbachov and Thatcher, and Michael acted as if they were both, just like family.
The rest of the hour was a patriotic salute from Lee Greenwood, Charles Osgood, and another country singer. It was a red, white and blue world of Republicans from the true America. No Democrats allowed because we just couldn't understand their level of patriotism. Hannity was relaxed and gracious, as only someone with trusted friends can feel. Life can be sublime, if we trust our leaders, wave our Flag and stop asking questions.
