Fox Covers Bush (Again, and Again, and Again)
Reported by Melanie - July 4, 2004 -
Beginning Sunday, July 4, 2004 at 12:55 p.m. ET, Fox News Live went to a speech George Bush was giving in Charleston, WV. They aired the speech, uninterrupted, for it's duration, ending at 1:22 p.m. ET. As I watched, I flipped back and forth continuously between Fox, MSNBC and CNN, and neither MSNBC nor CNN aired any portion that I saw.
COMMENT: Bush is campaigning today. This was a stump speech. If Fox continues airing Bush's stump speeches, but not, as has been it's practice thus far, those delivered by John Kerry, it's time to start emailing not only Fox (comments@foxnews.com), but the Federal Communications Commission (fccinfo@fcc.gov). Fox slides this in as "news," which it isn't, which is misleading (as is intended) to its viewers.
