Iraq? Iraq who?

Fox News Live was eerily silent today July 2 on the situation in Iraq.
Since we still have soldiers there, being killed by Iraqis, it's still a war to them. Is this to be forgotten like Afghanistan and countless other missions? I had to go to other networks to get any news at all, between homages to Marlon Brando and vague but credible terror threats.
To be fair, it could have been in the crawl, but I cannot read the crawl and the banners and listen and watch video at the same time. We Newshounds are aware that all this input at once is consciously designed to make sure the viewer doesn't ever focus too much. The network gets to claim the material was presented, but the average viewer retains little, most likely the video and the bottom third banners.
Thank goodness for "alternative" media! Now if we could just convince the Fox faithful to venture out of their ruts....
