Fahrenheit 911 Diversion

Reported by Judy - July 2, 2004 -

Fox and Friends has done little to acknowledge the existence of Michael Moore's movie, "Fahrenheit 911," and its criticisms of George Bush, but they were Johnny-on-the-spot today (July 2, 8:57 a.m. EDT) to praise the movie Disney dug up to replace it.

Disney, of course, dumped Moore's movie for fear of offending Bush's brother, the governor of Florida Jeb Bush, and is releasing "America's Heart and Soul" by Louis Schwartzberg. In today's show, Fox showed clips from the movie and interviewed Schwartzberg who characterized the movie as telling the story of Americans who are living the American Dream of pursuing life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

The movie is showing at all of 100 theatres this weekend. Probably won't set a record for documentary ticket sales like Fahrenheit.

Wonder when Moore will be interviewed on Fox and Friends?
