As long as it's been "leaked", let's use it

Reported by Chrish - July 1, 2004 -

Speaking with Rick Fulbaum on Fox News Live June 30 (3:45 EDT), former FBI Counter-terrorism Asst. Director Skip Brandon solemnly told us that the heads-up given to 6 American airports, to look out for Pakistani nationals with bruises or burn marks (for example), was obviously leaked and shouldn't have been.

Regardless of his former position and (one would think) ongoing loyalty to the country and our safety, Skip and Rick figured what the heck, it's already leaked so let's talk about it, which they did for three minutes. They seemed to ultimately agree that maybe the leak was a good thing and would scare off Pakistanis intending to enter the country, since now they too know they're being profiled. But that left Rick worried about the terrorists already here, deep into their missions.
Answering Rick's final question of how Skip's associates still in the field were feeling. Skip said (twice) that they're "very, very concerned." It is "very likely...a major attempt in the next few months."

Comment: It's always something! As we News Hounds know, this is an ongoing Fox theme: be afraid, be very afraid (or in this case, very, very afraid). Frightened people are easily led, or misled, and that's what Fox is all about.
