Texans to the Rescue

Reported by Deborah - June 30, 2004 -

Kent Hanse, introduced as the only Democrat
to ever beat Bush in an election, joined
Alan Colmes and Ollie North to endorse Bush.
(6/30/04 9:32 PM ET)

Kent Hanse hasn't been a Democrat since 1985.
A close pal of Bush from Austin, Hanse was
full of praise.
" He is a good guy. A people person and great
campaigner. The kind of person people want
to live next door to them. Reagan was like that."

Hanse was forced to admit that Bush was in a little trouble
right now saying,
" Every time I turn on network news, I have not heard one
positive story in the last two months."

Comment: There was no real story here. It was simply a
loyal Texas buddy doing some cheerleading.Hanse managed
to reinforce the GOP message that Bush is more likable then
Kerry. Hanse was very careful to critcize the network news
for their biased coverage instead of cable. Good job, Kent.
You'll certainly be invited back.
