What's Your Point ?

Reported by Deborah - June 29, 2004 -

Although they tried their best, Ollie North
and Alan Colmes couldn't find any real
controversy in John Kerry's meeting
with Jesse Jackson today.(6/29/04 9:17PM)

Ron Daniels and Michael King, African-American representatives
from opposing parties , appeared on Hannity&Colmes to discuss
John Kerry's influence in the Black community. Except, they had
very little to say or debate on this topic.

After Kerry's visit to the Rainbow Push Coalition with Jesse Jackson
today, their was an effort made to create problems for Kerry that
did not exist. One tease accused Kerry of taking the black vote
for granted and another claimed that he failed to energize
African-American voters.

Michael King , a republican, honestly admitted that Bush was not
liked in the community and the majority would vote for Kerry.
Ron Daniels said that the African American voters are standing
behind the Democratic candidate. No debate there.

Colmes and North continued to provide provocative comments that
might lead to a stimulating" Kerry Bashing" but to no avail. Portraying
Kerry as unpopular with African-Americans is Fox's favorite way to
deflect attention from Bush's abyssmal failure in that area.
