"Happy Iraq" Gets Even Happier

Brigitte Quinn & every other staff member on Fox spent the morning gushing about the wonderful, "surprise" handover of "sovereignity" from the Coalition of the Willing to the Iraqis.
Comment: The only attempt to inject reality was when Quinn interviewed Rich Galen (a "former CPA media official") & Rick MacArthur (Harper's magazine) at 11:22 am ET. MacArthur pointed out that the new Iraqi government has no legitimacy because we selected them, & Galen just lost it. I mean, really lost it. He went into one of those foaming-at-the-mouth rants, shouting that MacArthur was "disgusting", that his statements were "disgusting liberal statements", on & on until Quinn finally had to intervene to try to quiet things down by asking another question. Needless to say, MacArthur kept his cool & Galen lost it again. MacArthur stood his ground, Galen ranted. Quinn kept trying to interject a question but finally gave up & terminated the session.
