Two Teaspoons of Venom With My Coffee

Reported by Eleanor - June 27, 2004 -

On Sunday morning (June 27, 8:26 p.m. ET), the venom spewed out by Fox anchors against Fahrenheit 9/11, after they saw the movie, was astounding, starting with the observation that Michael Moore "damages our soldiers, rapes their honor, etc. - I was ready for ugly, but not ready for grotesque." And, "This was two hours of the most filthy propaganda." This level of passion convinced me that Moore's film is striking fear into the hearts of the republican establishment, as the film catches the ugly truth in pictures.

When Chris Lapetina, the token democrat, who was supposed to provide the "fair and balanced" asked, "Why take Michael Moore seriously," the Fox response was that "John Kerry is smart enough to stay away from Moore." Also, "Clark has class, and he was burned by the experience."

When Lapentina then started acting like a democrat and tried to make some pro-Kerry comments, the three Fox anchors fell all over themselves trying to cut him off. They had to go to a commercial to succeed.

Comment: This is the first time I have heard Fox anchors say anything remotely positive about any democrat, i.e. "Kerry is smart, " and "Clark has class." I guess their passion against Moore caused a temporary disconnect in their republican brain synapses.
