Russert on Moore

Tim Russert had some harsh words for Michael Moore this morning. (6/28/04)
At 11:16 AM ET on Meet the Press, Tim Russert discredited Michael Moore's ability as a filmaker.
"He is a provocateur, propogandist and pamphleteer."
This statement was made after reports that Moore's film, Fahrenheit 9/11, was number one in boxoffice sales this weekend. Considering Moore's film had a smaller distribution than the others, this is quite an accomplishment.
Maybe Russert would like to have the Jury from the Cannes Film Festival on next Sunday to debate Moore's ability as a documentarian. They could tell Russert why they awarded Moore the coveted Palm D'Or last month.
