Bush questioned on Plame case
Reported by Chrish - June 25, 2004 -
Shepard Smith briefly reported at 3:07 EDT that George Bush had been questioned, but not under oath,
regarding the outing of former CIA undercover agent Valerie Plame. While he told us that Bush was accompanied by his lawyer Jim Sharp we were looking at video of the backs of the heads of former ambassador Joe Wilson and his wife, Ms. Plame, as they were warmly greeted in a reception line by Bill Clinton and an unknown African man.
Comment: Fox attempts to connect Wilson + Plame with the hated Bill Clinton so that the mistrust will rub off on Wilson + Plame. They must be out to get Bush too, if they're friends of Bill. Why, they must even be Democrats! (Wilson is not; I don't know about his wife.)
The fact that a sitting president is being questioned with a lawyer he has retained about a possible federal offense that has crippled the war on terror, is quietly understated.
