O'Reilly Has Me Quoting Dr. Seuss
Reported by Eleanor - June 22, 2004 -
On the O'Reilly Factor (June 22, 8:40 pm ET), Bill O'Reilly bullied John Podesta, former Clinton Chief of Staff, mercilessly, and Podesta allowed it. It seems that Eric Alterman, a political journalist and friend of Podesta, is suing O'Reilly for calling him a "confidante of Fidel Castro," and Podesta tried to defend Alterman - badly.
Podesta, surprisingly, was unprepared for the badgering and bullying that O'Reilly subjected him to. He was totally on the defensive, and the more he dodged, the more O'Reilly pounded him. O'Reilly should get an award for bully of the year. He engages in these verbal sparring matches "because he can," and, strangely, a guest like Podesta comes without his gloves on. Even though Podesta got in a few jabs like, "You do it all the time! or "You label and smear," he walked away bruised and battered by O'Reilly's BIG MOUTH.
Do grown-ups really watch O'Reilly on a regular basis? He brags that his show is hugely popular. Quoting Dr. Seuss, that puzzles me until my puzzler is sore!
