More Reagan Funeral

Reported by Melanie - June 11, 2004 -

Fox News' top gun, Brit Hume anchors Dayside w/Linda Vester today. Much discussion about Reagan's faith "with a capital F."

Guest Willam P. Clarke said Reagan was "more moral than political. He believed in "peace through strength...it was more moral strength that he gave us." He believed in the "dignity and sanctity of human life."

Mary Beth Brown, author of Hand of Providence said Reagan's "mother was a wonderful Christian." When Hume asked whether or not Mrs. Reagan shared his faith, Brown said "she said that she admired it but did not share the firmness of his convictions," which seemed to take Hume aback, as the interview stopped somewhat abruptly at that point.
