Separation of Media & State

Reported by Eleanor - June 1, 2004 -

On June 1 at 7:20 ET on CNN American Morning, Cafferty from the Cafferty File reports that Bush's faith-based initiatives are stalled in Congress because the "purists" object based on issues around separation of church and state.

Cafferty says to "forget that and give them the money." Churches can help the needy and do it cheaper than the government can because the government spends too much money on the bureaucracy.

Comment: Since when has the media been given the right to interpret the Constitution? Maybe our founders should have also guaranteed separation of Media and State.
