Somewhere out there in the ether there is something which coordinates these crackpot theories. Whenever they appear they hit radio – like jock radio, tv – like fox news, papers – like new york post.

It does not matter that the theory is disproven, previously or later. The listener has heard and believed the erroneous story long enough for some of it to stick, somewhere in that great universe of the brain.
